LEE BUL: UTOPIA SAVED

Utopia Saved is the first solo exhibition in Russia by Korean artist Lee Bul. Creativity and large-scale works of Lee Bul are self-sufficient, they shape the space themselves. The artist worked with a 1:50 scale model, thinking over the scenography of installations and works of art, according to the general idea of ​​the exhibition.

Our task was to create a comfortable infrastructure, rather inconspicuous and dissolving in the interior of Manege. The white pylons of the side galleries duplicate the gaps between the windows, the mirror podiums create a barrier between visitors and suspended installations, there is a lot of air and space.
