A large-scale exhibition will explore the phenomenon of Punk, its history in Russia and the world through interactive exhibits, archival materials and contemporary art installations. Visitors of the exhibition will discover how the Punk genre influences culture, fashion, art and people's lives all over the world.
The journey begins with the history of Punk, the phenomena of foreign Punk culture and the Soviet punk genre. The final point of the starting exposition will be the "NO" zone, where the creators of the exhibition have collected bright punk attributes that illustrated the philosophy of DIY (do-it-yourself). It is a total immersive installation, which is complemented by the works of contemporary and Soviet artists, revealing the idea of Punk culture.
The second part of the exposition will be entirely devoted to the most famous Russian punk band, Korol i Shut. It will be filled with clothes, posters, drafts of songs, drawings of a lead singer - Knyaz. The co-curators of the hall about The Korol i Shut were the band's lead singer Andrei Knyazev and his wife Agata Nigrovskaya.
Part of the exhibition will be a set of the project, filmed in the genre of a punk fairy tale, and VR-section with a clip in 360 ° on the song "Dead Anarchist," in which guests can visit the set of the series and be in a fantasy world.
