The permanent exhibition of the New Jerusalem Museum Complex presents the best examples from its collection, the formation of which began in the 1920s, when the museum was founded on the territory of the monastery.
The exposition enables the widest range of visitors to learn about the history of the creation of the New Jerusalem Monastery, the personality of its founder, Patriarch Nikon, the history of Russia in the 17th century, tragic events of the Great Patriotic War and plans for the development of the complex.
