Moscow, Tsaritsyno Museum and Nature Reserve
Agust 22, 2020 - November 1, 2020
Beautiful features of the Gods of Antiquity… became the fifth project of the architectural bureau Planet 9 for the Tsaritsyno Museum and Nature Reserve. The exposition in 10 halls of the Tsaritsyno Bread House was built according to the principle: separate halls were assigned to the gods of the Greek and Roman pantheons, each of which had a unique colour scheme.

We like to experiment with unusual materials, so we used ondulin, a seemingly tacky roofing material. It was used to build a high plinth, which passed through all the exhibition halls. Thanks to its embossed texture, ondulin produced a highly decorative effect, being completely transformed in contrast with the exquisite plasticity of the exhibits of the 16th-19th centuries.
