Architecture of stadiums. From Avant-Garde to Modernity

The project was dedicated to the 21st FIFA World Cup. The championship became the main sporting event of 2018 and was held at 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities. Sports arenas themselves are of particular importance in such events because their architecture embodies the most current trends of their time.
The museum has a unique collection of materials that reveal almost a century of history of the construction and design of stadiums in the USSR. The purpose of the exhibition is to acquaint the general public with little-studied and previously unexhibited materials on the history of the construction of sports facilities in our country.
