ARCH MOSCOW 2020

ARCH Moscow 2020 is an international exhibition of architecture and design. The main topic was the confrontation between the project carried out in accordance with outdated but valid building norms of residential development and 4 alternative projects that guarantee a quality environment, but have been implemented without strict compliance with current standards. ⠀It was important for us to create something like a large information board, which can be found, for example, at airports. The meaning of the board lies in a visual comparison of the projects of the workshop participants and the project completed in accordance with all the standards, as well as in the visualization of the criteria by which the comparison took place. To implement this idea small-format material was required. Reinforcing mesh with an interval of 10×10 cm, which is a perfect cellular structure, included both the enumeration of standards and the names of the projects with voting and its criteria. Welded mesh structures, painted white, allowed us to create a fairly large-scale wall, but at the same time absolutely permeable and airy. On the reverse side we laid out the topic of the stand: "Norms".
