Jewels! The Brilliance of the Russian Court

Moscow, State Historical Museum
December 18, 2024 – May 12, 2025
The exhibition dedicated to the jewelry of the Russian Imperial Court, renowned for its incredible sophistication and opulence.

The State Hermitage houses one of the largest collections of works of art in the world, with a special place held by its collection of precious jewels. Over the centuries, it was created as an imperial collection, and only the finest pieces from both domestic and foreign masters were included.

The treasures invariably captivate visitors with their astonishing delicacy of craftsmanship, elegance of forms, nobility, and rarity of precious stones, as well as the opportunity to immerse themselves in the centuries-old history of jewelry making, preserved by its radiant "eyewitnesses." The exhibition featured jewelry from the 17th to the early 20th centuries, including collectibles, accessories, and mementos.
